Ah, Thanksgiving. The most wonderful time of the year for gluttony. Time to be thankful for the copious amounts of food we have access to. We appreciate this bounty by eating every ounce of it. Of course.

All this plentiful food is not without its consequences, of course - especially for our battered waistlines. Ever wonder just how much calories and fat you consumed this year? Fill out the form to the left and wonder no more.

Note that decimal values are accepted, but will be rounded up or down to the nearest calorie or gram at the end of the calculation. The stats are mostly from the Good Housekeeping site, so they're ballpark reliable; you can probably add/subtract 100 calories and still be in the area. Also, I didn't include the many types of beverages and miscellaneous, regional foods you might have eaten, so perhaps add 200 calories or so to the final number.

Data and form structure used without permission from the Thanksgiving Calorie Counter. I wanted the ability to input half (or even quarter) servings and I wanted a nice easy way to put it in my journal, so I made this quickie PHP page to accomplish that. (Also, no carrots or rolls? For shame.) Some other data was gleaned from the Holiday Calorie Counter.
